Among many of the landscapes here, the Lake Tuz which is the salt
lake is worth seeing. It is known to be the 2nd largest lake of
Turkey lying in at the northeast side of Konya in Central Anatolia.
This lake is fed by the 2 of the major water streams of Turkey.
Flamingos and White-fronted Goose breed here at the Lake Tuz.
Tourists from various locations specially visit this lake to see its
beauty and see these exotic birds here.
Another place here that can be visited during the trip to Turkey is
the Ankara Anitkabir Mausoleum. It was constructed in the year 1953
for Ataturk who is known as the father of the Turks. It is quite
beautifully designed and constructed. Marble is the main material
used for the construction and the style of the mausoleum is a blend
of the modern as well as ancient architect. The mausoleum not only
has the tomb of Ataturk but it also has wide collection of
memorabilia from the life of Ata. Moreover, old coins, stamps,
documents are also present there.
Another great landscape that you must not miss visiting in Central
Anatolia is the Hazeranlar mansion in Amasya. It was built in the
year 1865 and since the year 1984, it is being used as a museum.
This mansion was a gift to Hazeran Hanim from his brother Hasan
Talat Efendi. The mansion has separate parts of women and men as
well as a courtyard. Its architect is really amazing depicting the
style of the Ottoman era. If you have come to explore Turkey,
visiting this mansion would be a must for you from my side because
it is surely a piece of art. Its beauty is beyond compare.
If you are up for something historical to explore then Central
Anatolia has Cappadocia to entertain you with. The place is old and
it is what many of the archeologists come from different regions to
explore. It has got great historical importance for the Turks. Its
cultural heritage attracts major tourists from across the world.
