The Mediterranean region of Turkey is a region that is full

the Alanya Castle and Red Tower. The Alanya Castle is basically a
Citadel that is 6.5 km long. It is located at 250 meters above the
sea level. It was constructed on the demand of Sultan Alaaddin
Keykubat. The Red Tower on the other hand is a type of harbor. It
was constructed in the 13th century and it is also one of the works
of the Selcuks. Red bricks had been used to construct the tower. The
upper part of the tower has been fired because the bricks were not
being adjusted on such height. That is why it is known by the name
of Red Tower.
One of the greatest locations in Antalya is the Aqua Park. This park
is a place of amusement for not only the locals but the visitors as
well. It is basically a water park full of water rides. Children and
families can visit this park for rejoicing the moments. In summers,
there is a lot of rush here. It has also many attractions apart from
the water slides and rides. You will feel as if you are in the
Turkish Riviera when you will come to this park with your family.
The Kaleici Yacht Harbor in Antalya should also be visited for sure.
It is one of the old roman harbors of the city. There are a number
of yachts available here. You can go yachting here on daily basis
too. It will really be fun for the visitors to go yachting in the
Kaleici Yacht Harbor.
If you are looking for wonderful scenery in this region then you
will find plenty of water sceneries in Antalya. The Kursunlu
Waterfall has a beauty that is beyond compare. Though it is
basically a pine forest but its view is really pleasing for the
eyes. You will want to sit next to the falling water and enjoy the
pleasing sound and relax.
Another water location of the region is the Egirdir Lake in Isparta.
This lake has depth of more than 10 meters. It is the natural gift
of nature that makes the water at the bottom of the layer to move in
and out. Water comes to this lake through three streams. In summers
the lake is usually found dry.
A historical place here that is also worth seeing is St. Nicholas of
Myra. It is also located in Antalya. The Blue Voyage in the
Mediterranean region is also a place that you must visit for
enjoying the waters in summers. There are plenty of other seaside
and lakes in the region where you can go yachting and enjoying the
best time.
