international Volleyball Beach Tournament. It is held in the month

tournament.
A festival that is loved by many of tourists and visitors is the
Tourism and Culture Festival. It is celebrated in the month of July
in Iskenderun. Tourists from far off places are found in this
festival just to learn the culture of the nation and interact with
the locals.
If you are interested in seeing the art of the people of this region
then you must attend the Carpet and Rose Festival here. It is held
in the month of July in Isparta. The city of Isparta is rich in rose
oil, rose jam and perfumes. Therefore this festival is one of the
special festivals of the city.
A special festival held in Mersin in the month of September is the
International Fair. It is the horticulture and agricultural festival
of the city. Another festival that depicts the art and cultural
heritage of the Turks is the Mersin Art and Culture Festival held in
Mersin. This festival starts in the month of September and goes till
October.
We all know that film festivals are very famous in all the regions
of Turkey. Hence, a film festival is celebrated in the Mediterranean
region too. It is known as the Altin Portakal Film Festival. It is
held in the month of October in Antalya. One more famous festival of
the city of Antalya is the International Triathlon Competition. It
is organized in October.
The international St. Nicholas Symponsium festival is also much
famous in Demre in Antalya. It is organized in the month of
December.
