	South East Anatolia is a region of Turkey that takes influence from continental and Mediterranean region. It is a place rich in many beautiful locations and attractions. The climate of the South East Anatolia region is affected by the climate of the continental as well as the Mediterranean region. Summer season is quite long and hot. Winter on the other hand is cold. It mostly rains and snowfalls there. In the current year, changes were seen in the climate because of the construction of the dam lake. Dry weather does not last for long now and rainfall on the other hand has increased. When it comes to the production of agriculture, there is similarity in the South East Anatolia region and the Central Anatolian Region. Many grains and vegetables are grown on the arable lands of this region. This region is rich in the production of wheat due to which it contributes in producing wheat in the country too. Barley and lentils are also produced in this region. Rice is mainly produced in the Diyarbakir Province of the South East Anatolia region.





	The South East Anatolia region is considered to be such a region of Turkey visiting which will make you realize that this region has many things and places to explore. Crude oil is produced in the regions of Kahta, Raman and Garzan. The crude oil is then refined at the most renowned Batman Refinery of the region. Gaziantep is one of the most important cities of this region. Industrial development of the region is also quite flourishing. Many textile products are machinery are produced here. Cement, metal goods and food items are produced in the city of Mardin, Diyarbakir and Sanliurfa. When it comes to the locations and attractions of the region then there are plenty of places to visit.
