flawlessly entertaining the Turkish audience for innumerable years,
with zill-i-hayal, the imaginary shadow grabbing prominence and

According to the reliable historical resources, it is believed that
this Turkish play was perfomed on stage for the very first time for
the Eqyptian ruler, Ottoman Sultan Selim I, celebrating his recent
conquest of the Mamelukes.
